Acâş- Râtul lui Maitini

The archaeological site from Acâş– Râtul lui Maitini was researched due to the extension of the dyke on the Crasna River. On the western terrace of the river several complexes from the La Tène Age were revealed, with Dacian archaeological material comprising pots with curvilinear belt and fruit dishes. The discovery of a Roman fibula with deep profiles with trapezoidal foot is very important. It can be dated in the period after the Roman conquest, and it attests the continuity of the life in this Dacian rural settlements in the period following the Dacian–Roman wars.
