According to the tradition, the present-day church was built on the place of the former wooden church, in 1773. The edifice is remarkable for the baroque elements of the architecture. It has a semicircular apse and a square tower with three levels. On the each side of the tower semicircular windows are opened, the tower is growing narrower towards the upper level.
